You are right on the money. Joe Gibbs is an excellent coach but more
important a good human being! Gibbs took over a mess in Washington and
his impact even in the 1st year could be felt. Hiring Greg Williams
and surrounding himself with a good coaching staff even before he did
anything else!!! He has restored pride back to our beloved Redskins
and we are no longer the laughing stock of Eagles, Giants and even Cowboy
fans. He accomplished what no coach has down since 1992... Gee isn't
that when he last coached us???? His loyalty coming back and risking
his stellar reputation to try and turn this once proud franchise around
will always be remembered by me and I am sure to those 90,000 faithful
at FEDEX. |

Re:
Why the Democrats will lose big in 2004 Common sense should tell you that if a person was only favored by .5 - 1% margin and has held a consistent 49-51% average approval rating for 4 years, even with the invalid and unreliable 70% range for a few months, then how would that person possibly be favored for a landslide victory. I understand the inner workings of the electoral college and it still takes into consideration the overall popular vote win to determine the electoral vote win. With this in mind along with the 2000 election, the best way to tip the scales would be to manipulate the vote ....AGAIN. Thanks for your time. Jok Erman Reply from Johnny P News: |
Re: Muslims Represented Poorly (Jon Alvarez) First of all, don't give me the crap about we welcomed Muslims with open arms...remember the Native Americans, remember that you stole this country from them. Also, don't forget what you did and still do to the African Americans based on skin color. You sound like nothing more than a prejudiced and ignorant person saying that Muslims need to prove to "us" what side they are on. Who is "us"? I am a Muslim and I have lived in this country my entire life and am a US citizen. You don't know the first thing about Islam and I don't have to prove anything to you about who's side I am on. I am on the side of the people who don't lie, cheat, or murder others for their own personal gain, such as Bush and his administration or any other terrorist group, and yes I am calling Bush a terrorist. I am on the side of the people who still act with some decency and compassion. Open your eyes and you will see that the media is totally biased and does not report anything to you about what people are really going through in other countries or who they really are or what the truth of the matter really is, but the media only reports what most Americans want to hear. When people who are already biased against Muslims listen to the reports of a biased media, they hear that Muslims are all terrorists, they all hate America. Guess what? I have lived my entire life without the thought ever crossing my mind that I have to hurt anyone else because I am a Muslim or that I hate America. Are you shocked???? Do yourself a favor and watch Michael Moore's documentary Farenheit 911. If you have eyes that are not blind then you will see; if you have ears that are not deaf then you will hear and understand what the world is really like, its all about good versus evil and good and evil is found in every race, color, creed, religion. If you think that all Muslims are bad or evil and all Christians/Jews are good, then you need mental help, as a matter of fact only God could help you with that problem. Naghma Khan |

John Saw your article on "the appeasement factor" You know, I agree with most of it, but you missed one inconvenient fact. I think the election would have turned out differently if the Spanish
Government in power at the time (do not remember the name of the PM),
hadn't so FORCEFULLY declared that the bombings were the work of ETA.
All they had to do was say "we don't know who did this but we
will hunt them down and punish them". Instead, they declare without
out one shred of a shadow of a doubt that it is ETA that pulled off
the bombing and yet the whole world knows that its al queda. The incumbents
lost because of gross incompetence. What then is Zapoterra to do? Go back on his policies? On the policies he had been campaigning for months? That is something a man of honor should never do. But I think it might have been better if he moved them from Iraq to Afghanistan. Zappotera claimed to be committed to the war on terror, help him fight it in Afghanistan, let him pull out of Iraq. If our Government had looked deeper rather than just bluster about caving into terrorists, we could have neutralized this seeming reversal with such a strategy. Our closest allies in the "war on terror" are not Pakistan
or Saudia Arabia. The fault my friend lies with the blatant false assertions of blame to ETA by the then Spanish Government. They would have won the election EASILY if they simply had said we don't know who caused this, but we will find them and punish them and make sure it doesn't happen again. And for what its worth, my own belief is that they hate Bush so much that we will get a LOT of help with Iraq if Kerry wins, NATO, UN, the whole nine yards, much like Regan, Carter and the hostages and none at all if Bush wins. Re:
Limbaugh's Debt to his Audience When was Rush Limbaugh's back surgery? I don't believe he ever had any. He's made the claims, but he was never off of work and never spoke about it on the air. Johnny, Rush never had the surgery. He's just a common junkie. C.G. Cassell |

You shouldn't have brought your wife there, and endangered her and your child's safety. This was a foolish thing to do. What if the police had attacked? your wife could have been trampled by retreating crowds. Your flagrant endangerment of an innocent unborn child in order to make a statement shows a callous disregard for it's safety. I'm no friend of the left myself, but this was irresponsible. I hope in the future you learn some better parenting skills, lest the state (rightly) remove your children from what obviously is an unsafe home. Reginald - 10/31/03 |

Out of all the news sites I have found on the internet yours is the only one covering what happened Saturday. I realize we were only a group of 60 but I feel certain that if we had waded into the A.N.S.W.E.R. protesters tearing up signs and shoving people around that there would have been much more coverage. Thank you. Antihippie - 10/28/03 |

Good job on your reporting! I posted your article at FreeRepublic – may account for some of those many hits you’ve been getting.

In an otherwise excellent article ("Protest Security Personnel/Counter-Protesters
Clash in Washington"), please allow me to correct one mistake:
FReerepublic.com and ProtestWarrior.com are unrelated web sites and
have no formal agreement to collabarate in our particular advocacies.
There is an "overlap" in membership, i.e., some ProtestWarriors
are FReepers and vice-versa, but as organizations, we do not coordinate
our activities. Thank you, |
